Dreamcatcher - description

At the NAMM show of 2004 I was approached with a request to make a line of instruments. I was about to undertake making replicas of my own designs, guitars that I've been building back in the day of my involvement with Totem Guitars. I made a few minor changes after some soulsearching and the new Dreamcatcher was born, reminiscent of Native American spirit and call of Nature.

Lightweight Honduran mahogany body produces 'dark' sounding platform with excellent sustain. To complement it, a special mixture of resin is created with a 'bright' sound, much like a maple top on venerable Les Paul™. Using resin tops benefits capturing each instrument's own artistic personality. Art work includes actual Dreamcatcher, Indian symbols, turquoise, mother of pearl, bone and some precious stones. Bird feathers with hand braided leather are attached to the body for that authentic war cry!

There are presently several finishes available, 'Day', 'Night', 'Sunset' and 'White Buffalo'. Legendary Char of Japan replaced his trusty Zemaitis™ , Les Pauls™ & Stratocasters™ with a single Dreamcatcher 'Night' version.
